NY Times Chronicles F Yeah Tour

The New York Times online has chronicled the first ever F Yeah Tour featuring a gang of bands and comedians touring the country in a bus running on vegetable oil. The tour was the brainchild of F Yeah Festival coordinator Sean Carlson. Formally called Fuck Yeah, F Yeah is an LA-based festival that was taken on the road for the first time this year. While the show I reviewed yesterday (Buzzin) chronicles the challenges at the major label level, this three-part series shows the rigors at the indie/D.I.Y. level. Carlson and co look for vegetable oil at three in the morning, need fan's houses to crash out, and survive on a steady diet of pizza. You know, the stuff Shwayze doesn't have to worry about. It is very interesting and you can watch it here. For more information about the festival (taking place August 30 and 31 in Echo Park), check out the official site.

Certainly sounds intriguing. My Java player is not working all that well at the moment, so the video wouldn't play. Shall have to check them out on YouTube!
