+ SF's Birds and Batteries have a new MP3 available at Pampelmoose for the track "Out in the Woods."

+ LA's fabulous art and music community venue, Pehrspace, is in danger of shutting down with one more noise complaint. Over the past weekend, a show was stopped due to noise complaints - a first in the venue's three years. [via Rock Insider]

+ Sony Music Entertainment has agreed to a deal with eMusic, allowing their back catalog to be sold through the subscription service. According to the New York Times: "The company plans to announce on Monday that it will add all Sony Music tracks that are more than two years old, including material from artists like Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel."

+ UK 7" label Young and Lost Club has added a new dimension to their "singles club." If you sign up for their mailing list, then every fortnight you will receive a new or hard to find track or remix from your favorite Y&LC artists and friends.

+ Oakland's Slumberland Records will be releasing a new colored vinyl 7" from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart ("103" b/w "Falling Over") on 7/28. [via MBV]
