Last week, LA's
The French Semester released their second album,
Good Friends Only I Could See. With members whose origins lie in India, Mexico, Vietnam, and Europe, respectively, the quartet boast a lo-fi vintage/jangly indie rock sound that I'd expect to show up in an upcoming Wes Anderson film. You can pick up a copy of your own by contacting the band directly. To learn more about the French Semester, check out this interview with
Radio Free Silverlake. The band has a couple Southern California shows lined up and one Arizona date, before a Spring international tour which will take them to France, Spain and Germany.
