I Rock the Vote, I Rock the Blogs

I don't need to remind you to go out and vote - chances are you've gotten that reminder plenty of times. Besides, someone had to remind me multiple times to register after our move, and then I needed a few before my absentee ballot was completed. Still, I got my ballot in, casting votes in this historic election. It has been a long road and I feel as though today is going to be a long day. I am not going to pop any champagne bottles early, and I am not going to read into what Karl Rove has to say or what happened in last night's Washington Redskins game.

It is still busy here at New and Used Records - in fact more than ever. We have officially released the new record from Tigers Can Bite You - Steve Ward Hears Voices - although it is taking its sweet time to show up at some digital outlets. You can pick it up at emusic, or if you would like a physical copy, you can pick it up here.

It is very exciting because I am starting to see a number of the goals I had for this label actually happening. At the same time, now that I've achieved much of what I set out to do, a new set of goals and responsibilities come along with that. I have got some major work to put in - though I have a sneaking suspicion it will be hard to focus on anything today.

It feels like a historic day, even from this side of the border.
