Murry, My Hero & Reaching a Peak

Those of you watching Flight of the Conchords on HBO have probably grown attached to Murry, the band's manager. The guy is certainly my personal hero, managing the band during his workday office job. He may not be the most skilled at landing gigs for the band, but he certainly does know how to lead a band meeting. I should take note...

A Peak
With last week's Guardian article, I feel like we've reached somewhat of a peak in San Francisco. There's always room to get bigger - hopefully someday the Passionistas will be headlining the Fillmore and the Great American Music Hall. But that kind of fame comes with time. I feel like in terms of being a legitimate San Francisco band that people know and care about, the Passionistas have reached that. I think that greater acclaim will come when the band has broken through to more of a national audience, something I think there is great potential for. There are some great upcoming San Francisco shows, and in the coming weeks we will seriously strategize how to bring the rest of the country onto our team.
