If you thought that two cd setup that could recreate the sound of scratching was bad, then check out what the scientists over at Urban Outfitters have come up with.
It is a crazy "two iPods and a microphone" DJ rig. It is totally compact, and you could have, like, a million songs at your fingertips. And ... "Mixing console lets you input 2 additional turntables, MP3 players and a microphone. In the output department, you can hook up headphones, S-video, master and record RCA." In-fucking-sane!
The only catch is it costs $300 - iPods not included. I'm a vinyl lover at heart, but I have to say this is pretty cool, even if it means 13-year old mixmasters will take over the world.
