Hopefully you were able to snag a copy of the "Bergman Movies" 7" from Planet Earth, which we reviewed last week. On Saturday, I was delighted to find another lovely 7" from the Young and Lost Club in my mailbox. This one comes from ExLovers and contains "Photobooth" and "Weightless." ExLovers have been winning over fans in the United Kingdom, most notably tastemaking DJ Steve Lamacq, who recently picked "Photobooth" as his single of the week. The dueling male/female vocals of ExLovers create a sound that is dreamy, but not precious. In fact, they seem to share more in common with Elliott Smith than Camera Obscura. You can download another ExLovers track for free here by giving your email address. Pick up the 7" while you can - Y&LC releases seem to be selling out rather quickly.
