Commentary:
Morrisey Has the Best Album Covers

I've been thoroughly enjoying Morrissey's career renaissance (some call it a "comeback") that launched with 2004's You Are the Quarry. I love how Morrissey has refashioned himself as a bitter, sassy, politically frustrated and sexually inactive social deviant. 2006's Ringleader of the Tormentors was positively magnificent, and the first listens to Years of Refusal are triggering high levels of excitement for my ears. Aside from brilliant music, these last three albums have also showcased three amazing album covers. In an age when few listeners are focused on the physical product, Morrissey still realizes that the album cover is still a place for empowerment and subversion - that Years of Refusal cover was making the press rounds long before we heard any leaks.

All three albums can be streamed at Morrissey's Myspace.
