The Best Time of the Year

Thanksgiving rolls around and my mood perks back up where it remains until well into the new year. Perhaps you noticed a two week absence on the blog here, which can be explained. Whenever I dissappear from the blog for a little while, it means I am working on something or many things that are very exciting. See, if I blog too much, that means I have too much time on my hands. Of course, never playing all my cards at once, I can only say ... "stay tuned." I will hint by saying that what is to come, regrettably, does not involve the signing of Stephen Colbert. We will keep trying, however.

This time of year brings with it many grand traditions - a number of holiday-themed blog posts, trips to Amoeba records to Christmas shop, my obsessive-compulsive Christmas mix compiling, and a best-of-the-year albums list. All of that and more ... coming soon!

While it's good to hear that you've been busy with exciting developments, I'm looking forward to the best of lists. Mine shall be late this year, I think.

Sounds like you have a lot going on. This time of year always goes by in a flash, too. I am greatly looking forward to end of the year lists! If I get my power cord back to my laptop, mine should be up this week!
