I just discovered yet another fabulous internet radio station - Scott Ford Radio. Ford plays bass for The Twilight Singers (one of my absolute favorite bands), as well as for the Gutter Twins (obviously, another fave). Today, the bassist/DJ spent four wonderful hours counting down the Top 54 Twilight Singers songs, as voted by the fans. Now the station is playing a great Twilight Singers bootleg. Better yet, there's a bootleg section in the forums with lots of Twilight Singers bootlegs for download.
All of this Twilight excitement had me Googling the band for tracks I was missing, and as it turned out, the band did an exclusive 7" with none other than Devil in the Woods. Hope I can get a copy of that.
And - as if this day could get any better - I found out the new Isobell Campbell and Mark Lanegan album (reviewed by Pitchfork today) comes out next week, though that may only be an import.
