Good Art at the De Young

Hey San Franciscans - when I was at the de Young this past weekend, I stumbled upon an exhibition from an artist I was painfully ignorant about - Jane Hammond. The exhibit is entitled Jane Hammond: Paper Work (see picture above) and I highly suggest checking it out if you can. It is located right next to the fabulous Gilbert and George retrospective, which is on display only until the end of this week. I know this is primarily a music blog, but it's good to support the arts as well.

I have only ever heard the name Jane Hammond, but never seen any works. Thanks for the link.

We never did make it to the De Young when we were there, but definitely next time.
