Not Going to Austin

You may be wondering where I've been - well Wednesday's late show at the Knockout did, for lack of a better term, knock me out. But more on that another time. Late yesterday afternoon, I finally received some answers with regards to the Passionistas chances at SXSW:

This year SXSW has had over 10,000 applications from artists wishing to perform at our festival. We are continuing to book talent daily and The Passionistas is on our very small list of acts to continue to consider.

There is still a chance that we'll be able to invite The Passionistas to showcase at SXSW. . . . Please be aware that although The Passionistas is an act we would like to be able to find a showcase for, the odds are against our being able to, so if you need to make other plans now, we encourage you to do so.

After some discussion, the band has decided to make other plans, and it looks as though some good shows will happen during this time.

I'll admit it's pretty disappointing, as I was looking forward to my first SXSW. That being said, we move on and I'll keep you posted on our March plans.
