Rain

I apologize for being somewhat absent with the posts this week. Alas, sometimes there is little to write about as the deals are going down - more to say once they are actually confirmed. Besides, it's fucking cold in San Francisco, and raining, and that's enough to make you feel either melancholy, or at least drained. It's also been a depressing week for pop culture with the passing of Heath Ledger, and even the news of Amy Winehous smoking crack is bumming me out.

Yesterday, I dropped by the Birdman offices to bounce some ideas of David and Matthew. As it would turn out, they were into some of the ideas I had for the direction of New and Used Records. I also was interested in doing some "new media" type work for them. Interestingly enough, they had a couple questions for me in this area. Since those guys have been my mentors for a year now, it was interesting to be offering up any kind of suggestions at all to them.

Basically, in this new year, I just want to take on lots of new projects, get my name out there, the New and Used Records name out there, and really just shake some shit up in this San Francisco scene.
***I finally got around to posting again at our Pop Culture Blog, about the use of music in Inland Empire.
***Also, I went to a Warriors' game last night. It kicked ass.
