N&UR: The Year in Review

I am a person who loves lists. My whole life, I've always been filling up notebooks with lists of all sorts. Thus, I love this time of year because everyone gets in the obsessive lists mode. I see that Pitchfork posted their Top 50 Albums today, omitting God's Boat for some reason. The Passionistas did make it onto Johnny Ray Huston's best of the year list in the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Over at my other blog, I've been compiling my favorite songs of the year. But this time is also about reflection and, with that in mind, I decided to look back at the year that was for New and Used Records...

Yes! Congrats on all this, Will - it's so important to recognize what we've done in the past as significant - best of luck with 2008!

I love things laid out in timelines like that. But it's hard to believe that nearly a year has passed.
