Photos were not permitted at the Courtney Love book signing we attended Saturday afternoon, but we did snag a shot of this snazzy whiteboard. In case you didn't know, Love recently published her "diaries" as a coffee table book, and has been touring the country signing her name on the inside. She was a tad late (hour and fifteen minutes), but we really didn't mind as the store played Live Through This two times through, and the crowd was ridiculously well-behaved. When Love finally emerged, her presence was felt and she apologized, stating that a problem with her eye forced a doctor's visit. "You guys wanna hear a new song?" she shouted, and of course we did. "You can't fucking tape record this, or I'm going to get in big trouble," she warned. "I mean it." She then instructed one of her people to play what I believe was "track 2," a song she described as "not the single. but my favorite." The song had a serious folk feel to it, finally making the comparisons to Bob Dylan that Moby has made. I rather liked it.

Courtney is still a firecracker!
Did you buy her book as well?
Despite her being a little crazy, I've always really liked her.
I'm really interested in hearing some of her new stuff.
Yeah, we got the book, and she signed it for Hillary.
I like Ms Love also. I LOVE that white board. Snazzy is the word Will!
heeheee, I would have loved to be there LOVED IT! I want that book too. She makes me laugh. The white board was funny. They went all out with the big budget eh *teehee*
I hate CL for her ruthless whoring of Kurts diaries and the way she is always looking to make a buck from his memory.
