If you saw N&UR video podcast three featuring the Boy Least Likely To, you probably observed that singer Jof Owens is a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. N&UR - incidentally - are also big fans of Buffy and Boy Least Likely To. In a recent blog post entitled, "top five things i shouldn't be thinking about when i should be writing songs for our next album," Owens counts down his five favorite episodes of the show with explanation. You can read the explanation at MySpace, while the top 5 (in no particular order) happen to be:
"I Was Made to Love You"
"Becoming (Part Two)" (probably my personal favorite)
"Superstar"
"Hush"
"The Zeppo"

I'm sure there are plenty of other things he shouldn't be thinking about when writing songs!
There is nothing wrong with being distracted by Buffy, I'm always happy when I catch a rerun on Space.
Even though I'm not typically a fan of musicals, I loved the musical one they did.
