Howlin Rain - the new band featuring Ethan Miller of Comets on Fire - is hitting the road for their first ever live shows. Their self titled debut is out now, mixing the classic rock influence with screeching guitars. I caught their in-store at Amoeba Records last night and they sounded awesome. I'm looking forward to hearing yet more new music made available by the discerning ear of Mr Benham. It was thanks to you that I bought the Band of Horses cd and am loving it quite a lot.
I'm be on the lookout for this band.
Cool ... interested to hear what you think ... certainly for fans of Creedence, the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, the Byrds, the Band....
Doesn't look like they are coming my way but I will seek out their music.
