Tom Cruise Takes A New Approach

For the record ... I have no plans to go see Mission Impossible 3 or M:I:III as it now seems to be called.

It appears Cruise has been advised not to use rants against the evils of psychiatry as a marketing device with this summer blockbuster. Instead, he's taken to acting like a jackass on Black Entertainment Television.

Kanye, distance yourself while you still can. It's not just me. Nobody seems to like that song. Just check out the comments at Stereogum.

I'm backing you fully on this call, Will. I think people will be staying away in droves, myself included, but then I fell asleep during the first Mission Impossible, so.

Tom Cruise has a movie out?
;)

I heard the song was weak, too bad, I think the MI:111: theme was one of the only tolerable things.
Oh and I love, love love the commercial where tiny tom gets slammed against a car in an explosion. I need an animated gif of that.

I never thought any of the Mission Impossible movies were any good. It's amazing they made a 2 after the first one...talk about lame.

The last great movie Tom Cruise made was probably Top Gun.

Are you as afraid as I am that we are turning into Tom Cruise pages a bit? Well, me more than you. Damn his brainwashing don't care if it's good or bad press!

I haven't seen any of the MI's and don't want to. I do, however, have the MI ringtone on my cell phone because I think it's a cool piece of music and "mission impossible" truly represents some of the phone calls I receive.

LOL re: KC's comment. I too like the theme.

I guess we are turning in to Tom Cruise pages a bit ... maybe we helped deter people from seeing M:I:III.

I'm in agreement with KC on certain phone calls.
