Give Me A Fucking Break

Tom DeLonge has a whiny high-pitched voice that seemed to sit well with faux-punkers Blink-182 and their devoted, Hot Topic-shopping fans. I breathed a healthy sigh of relief when the band went on permanent hiatus, but now I have to reach for the Tylenol everytime I hear DeLonge talk about his new band, Angels and Airwaves. "This band contains an inner energy and a spiritual awakening that's kind of magical," he tells MTV. "And it's so full of positive energy that I think that whoever comes to the shows or listens to the album and wants to become a part of it, it will happen to them. I think it's going to be a sort of magical, organic thing that happens with anybody that is willing to have that kind of feeling in their life."

Delonge is utterly convinced of the band's brilliance - and this is stressing him out. "When we were making this record, I remember one night, it was about 2 a.m. and I went into the studio — which was in my house — and it was pitch black and I put the record on and listened to it, and I had this overwhelming rush of emotions," he said. "I was like, 'Oh my God, this is going to be huge,' and I started having these panic attacks thinking about every country in the world wanting us there multiple times. Conquering the globe is a pretty large endeavor."

What a crock of pretentious shit that Delonge is slinging. And the band name! Worst. Name. Ever.

Will, in case you missed it, I wanted to tell you about the Constantines concert in San Francisco:
Jun 09 - CAFE DU NORD
Okay, I'll stop pimping now.

No mud and stones Dave. To be honest, I haven't heard too much of the music. His attitude kinda turned me off.

Haha Will, why doesn't he realise that people will think of him as a spotty oik from a Pop/Punk band and not this important artist he's now claiming to be.

At least Sum41 know their artistic limitations.

*L* And his modesty is his best quality, at that!
