Writer's Block

It happens to the best of us - your brain freezes up, hiding your best ideas, leaving you with little to write about. That, and some overtime at work, as well as a pair of video projects have unfortunately kept me away from N&UR this weekend. Needless to say, I will come back so strong this week, the seven nation army couldn't hold me back.

::MP3s::
"The Funeral," Band of Horses
"Standing in the Way of Control," The Gossip
"The Soldiering Life," The Decemberists
"Eve of Destruction," Bishop Allen

Will..can you feel me empathizing with you from across the miles?
It's been hard for me lately too.
Don't worry, this pace we enforce on ourselves is not expected, your blog pals will always be around to read when you return.

Phoenix - It's just something we have to battle.

Jacquie - You are kind ... I know we both are doing a bit of a balancing act between our blogs and the work required of us, I'll always be around to read yours, no worries.

I see you got that little bout of writer's block out of the way quickly. And hurray for that, cause we loves reading your stuff.

Thanks for the mp3s. I knew the Decemberists of course (LOVE them), but WOW! on the Band of Horses and the Bishop Allen tracks!
They're pretty amazing. I love a cover that completely reinvents the song, as Eve of Destruction did. Good choices.
