In October, Snoop will be releasing his first novel, Love Don't Live Here No More through Atria Books. According to NME, "The story follows a young man living a hard life in southern California, whilst struggling to make it in the world of hip-hop." Kathleen Schmidt, the company's vice president and director of publicity, says, "Snoop, by nature of what he does, is a storyteller." She adds, "Books speak more to a female audience than does his music so these novels give him an opportunity to show, particularly his female fans, another side." So, ladies, be on the look out.

I read that this weekend and cracked right up. Oh Snoop, you so smooth with the ladies.
I'm tired of this hip-hop storytelling. It's all the same garbage. Why can't any of them come up with something really unqiue and different?
Say like a rich black kid who tries to make it in hip hop, but no one takes him seriously.
Or, a Japanese-American trying to make it in Nashville and a country singer?
