Pearl Jam - "World Wide Suicide" on SNL

I thought my days of enjoying a Pearl Jam song were long gone ... but, I have to admit, I kinda liked "World Wide Suicide" when they played it on Saturday Night Live last night. Its got a cool, garage rock feel and it certainly mops the floor with Chilli Peppers singing about California for the umpteenth time. (They're on SNL next week). Thoughts?

I loved it, though the picking at the beginning made me cringe.

That picking at the beginning was very weird.

Cringe-worthy picking aside, that was a pretty good song. Is Eddie Veder looking distintly Jesus-like these days?

I REALLY liked the song at first, but now I think it was simply because I was happy to hear Pearl Jam was still creating music. Now I'm not so sure I like it as much. As for the Chilli Peppers, you're dead-on about the California repetition, but I really do like the new tune.
