Lenny Kravitz, What the Fuck?
I can't say that I've ever been a huge Lenny Kravitz fan. Then again, he's not awful - and there's a few songs I enjoy. It's hard to exactly pinpoint where he got totally ridiculous - that "Fly Away" song written for a car commercial? That wretched cover of "American Woman"? Maybe the horrible Gap ad with Sarah Jessica Parker? Either way, Kravitz has pushed it that much farther with an awful ad for Absolut Vodka.

I saw that ad too and I just don't get it. I don't much get Lenny Kravitz either. A pretty face will only take you so far in my books.
I think the ad has a definite S&M motif. Kravitz sounds like a horrible skin disease or something too. "Oye, I've got me a bad case of the itchy Kravitz."
Great series, I look forward to more WTFs of which pop culture provides so many..I am so brainwashed by these ads I was just like "where is the bottle?" before I decided it was somewhere the sun don't shine my sister pointed out it was the plug to the nipple. So maybe he's mainlining the stuff.
Kravitz....highly overated in my books, but he sure does well with the ladies.
