For our UK readers, the new single from The Streets, entitled "When You Wasn't Famous," is available wherever good music is sold. The single comes on two cd's or a record, each with a handful of remixes. For those of us in the US, we'll have to wait and see whether there will be an official release, but, in the meantime, we can enjoy the music video.
The single precedes the Streets' third album, When You Wasn't Famous which hits stores April 25.

I bought both the previous albums, and they were excellent, particularly the debut "Original Pirate Music". The first single I heard by him was "Lets Push Things Forward", and it's still my fave Streets track. The new single is OK, I'm hoping it's a grower.
The single's interesting ... not great. But I didn't think "Fit But You Know It" was spectacular either, and I love love loved A Grand Don't Come For Free.
They actually showed the When You Wasn't Famous video on a program I watch that usually only plays Canadian videos. I think it's really catchy, but I could see myself tiring of it with too many listens.
That Mike Skinner's quite a sassy cat, isn't he?
Only in the UK?
Phoenix - as far as I can tell, only in the UK. It's not available from any of the digital services I use. Hopefully, there's a US release planned.
Barbara - Yes, he is rather sassy, and a good storyteller. I can't reccomend his second album highly enough.
