How very sweet - thank you. And, oh do I have some listening to do.
Some of the cuts I know, some I don't, and I always love hearing new music.
I think now, though, that I'm going to have to go out to buy Wolf Parade for sure. I've heard them a few times now and have always liked what I've heard. I'm assuming Shine a Light is from Apologies to the Queen Mary?
At first I thought this might be a cover of a song of the same name from one of my favourite bands, the Constantines. But it's not.
I can send you that song though, if you like, because I am shameless at pimping Canadian music.
Please do send the mp3 ... and feel free to pimp Canadia music - we love it.
And yes, "Shine a Light" is from Apologies... That song is so good.
And I was quite taken with Chris Brokaw.
Hi Will, my comment didn't save earlier. Could be my system if you have no issues. What a great idea to make a compilation like this. Thanks for posting.
Brokaw's latest album, Incredible Love, is quite good. He's on mySpace at http://www.myspace.com/thechrisbrokawrockband.
Glad the mix is a hit ... I will have to do it semi-regularly.
