A few weeks back I reviewed Party Ben's "Hung Up on Soul" which mashed Death Cab for Cutie's "Soul Meets Body" with Madonna's "Hung Up." It was rather excellent, and received a four star rating. Well, the San Francisco mash-up master has apparently been tweaking with it a bit and has a new version which removes Madonna's vocals (mp3). Ben says this version is "more in line with my original concept.... Just Death Cab over Stuart Price's disco beats." There is also a video of the mash-up edited by Ben Cohen (of mp3 blog Ben Loves Music). At first I was a little jealous, but then I came to fully respect its awesomeness.
