My absolute apologies to Flavor Flav, who turned 47 yesterday, and whom I forgot to wish a happy birthday. Everytime I see Flavor Flav, I get this image in my head of Chuck D, deeply saddened, head buried in his hands.

Chuck D (the best voice in Hip Hop ever?) - and a time when you usually had to have a kick-ass voice to rap. Their music stands up so well to this day..
I was one of the many middle class white kids who knew every word to their songs. Hip Hop artists today should be forced to watch their videos not a bumping stripper or bling anywhere, and hugely successful.

Those early PE records are amazing ... good call Jacquie - most rappers deserve a lecture from Chuck.
