In more exciting news - British grime/two-step/garage/dub genius Mike Skinner (aka The Streets) has announced a tracklist, and a release date (April 25 US, April 11 UK) for his third record, The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living. The official website is counting down the time until single "When You Wasn't Famous" is released - currently 1 Month, 9 Days, 11 Hours, 49 Minutes, 35 Seconds. Cheaters can download it over at Fluxblog.
If it's more news you crave...
Common wants to work with Kanye and Dr. Dre on his next record,
Pharell's solo record drops this spring,
New Public Enemy in March,
The Go! Team are hitting the road,
and Britney Spears is back in the studio.
If it's free MP3s you want, check out...

and Art Brut live.
(Thanks to Brooklyn Vegan for leading me to these).
Lastly, I have a new temp job that may turn into a full-time job. I'm on my feet a lot so I don't get to sneak back a whole lot to blog. But - have no fear - I'll still be dropping three or four of these each day. Big plans are in the works for this blog - original videos, mashups, and more - the sky's the limit.

Looking forward to The Go! Team. I'm seeing them in a couple of weeks.
Hey Ben,
How were the Strokes?
Hey Will, thanks for the link! I was just coming over to watch your favorite videos, which I share.
Best of luck with the new job.
Don't worry no matter how busy you get your blog mates will be waiting to read your great stuff.
Incidentally, I usually feel bad if I say anything negative on my posts, but with Stapp? nothing.
Thanks for the support; I'm glad to have readers. Yeah, Stapp deserves all the bad press. Anyone who says "It's good to be the king" to someone filming them getting some groupie love deserves to be made fun of.
Will they were top class. I went with the view they were going to be miserable and low fi but they were definitely major league.
