3). "Star Guitar" (2002), The Chemical Brothers / directed by Michel Gondry
More repetition from Gondry, but yet, something new. It's difficult to say a lot about "Star Guitar," other than that it is absolutely mesmerizing.
2). "Windowlicker" (1999), Aphex Twin / directed by Chris Cunningham
The collaborations between Aphex Twin mastermind Richard D. James and director Chris Cunningham consisted mainly of supplanting James' face onto bodies on which it did not belong. For "Come to Daddy," James' creepy face found itself on the bodies of little children. While that was a little disturbing to watch, it didn't have the impact of their second collaboration - "Windowlicker." Subverting gender norms in videos, "Windowlicker" challenges the viewer by making weird something that has become culturally normal. The objectification of women's bodies is old hat in music videos - from hair metal to rap - and "Windowlicker" has the power to destroy that. Bikini-clad models dance, while the camera focuses on their physical features; the only catch is that they have James' face.

I'm looking forward to number 1. These have all been good so far.
It'll be up tomorrow. I feel like I missed a bunch, but there's always time to revise.
