In Liev Schreiber's beautiful and underrated "Everything is Illuminated," Eugene Hutz was absolutely brilliant. Though the film was promoted based on the star power of Elijah Wood, the film belongs to Hutz. Entering with very little previous acting experience, Hutz portrayed Alex, a Hungarian Ali G, with a fondness for American hip hop culture, working as the translator for Jonathan Safran Foer - an American searching for the woman who saved his grandfather from the Nazis. Though Alex's outlook remains the same throughout the film, the bond he forms with Foer and the events of their journey show a greater depth to this character. It is hard to imagine any other actor pulling this off so well.
Following the film's release, there was great buzz around Hutz (who is also a DJ and fronts a band called Gogol Bordello), but unfortunately that did not translate into any nominations. Regardless, Hutz is a remarkable performer and I hope we hear and see more from him this year.

I haven't seen the movie, but I wasn't really a fan of the book. JSF is a talented writer and quite funny, but, for some reason I found it quite lacking, don't really know why.
Hi
Thanks for putting such a nice blog out here for all of us to read. Here is a website with charter boats and fishing guides.
